Personal Data
General InformationOk so you want to know about me. Well let's see what I can give you on the subject of me. I grew up in the Los Angeles area. Not actually in LA I was born in the Los Angeles county hospital. Then lived in Compton for the next six or seven years with my mother. After that I moved to Montclair (Inland Empire) to live my father. I lived there until I was about 20. The only time I wasn't there was a year and half stint that I lived in Oakland, CA with my mother's aunt, but the rest of the time I was in the Pomona Valley area. After that I moved to Silverlake, CA and then to Long Beach, CA where I lived for about three years. After that I moved to Portland, OR where I wasfor 8 or 9 years. Now I am in Lovely Corvallis, OR. My next move will be back to Los Angeles for a bit and then off to Australia. MusicI love music and always have. I listen to a variety of things from Country to R&B. Music is usually playing no matter what I am doing except maybe watching TV. Some of my favorite groups are from the 80's. Music like Depeche Mode, Erasure, Pet Shops Boys, Yaz, The Cure, Madonna, Culture Club, ABC and things like that. I also love George Strait, Reba McEntire, John Michael Montgomery, Dave Matthews Band, Garth Brooks, Tracy Chapman, Celene Dion, Corey Hart (what a stud), Linkin Park, and a few others. ReadingWell the reading list goes along the lines of Sci/fi and Fantasy. I have read a good portion of the new Star Wars books and quite a few of the Star Trek books. I love David Eddings. Peter David is also a great writer. I also love books in the gay genre, and I don't mean porn or erotica. I also read some comic books and used to collect when I was younger. The only comic I read on a regular basis now is a web comic called Queer Nation. Lately I have also been reading a lot of books on Web Development and Design. MoviesMy movie taste are about the same as my reading taste. I like sci/fi, fantasy, and horror. Yes, I love Star Wars. I also like other things, but those are my favs. A good gay movie is also good. My favs in that genre are; Get Real, Different For Girls, Torch Song Triology, Maurice, Jeffery (gotta love that Michael T. Weiss, he is a doll), Beautiful Thing, Common Ground, and Another Country. I also love old Disney animation. Tim Burton movies are also cool. TelevisionHere is a list of my favorite TV shows. Smallville, Stargate (both of them), Queer As Folk(US), Six Feet Under, South Park, The Tribe, OZ, any Star Trek, Law and Order, X-flies, Will and Grace, Darma and Greg, All My Children, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Frasier, Friends, The Prentender, Stargate SG1, Poltergeist the Legacy, the Outer Limits, and any CSI. To answer the question on everyone's mind, NO I don't get to watch most of them regularly, I do have a life after all! Potential MatesA new bar was set (July 2003). I will have to get back to this later. Until then here you go. Okay this is the tough one. There is so much that I want a mate to be and so much that a potential mate needs to be. I can try to put it all down, but there will always be something that I left out. With that said here goes. He must be kind, considerate, confident, and have the ability to laugh. He must also be able to have fun, and be able to do different things with ease. He must like going out, but also enjoy staying home. He will need to have the ability to love me for me, faults and all. He will need to have the strength and self-confidence to let me know when I am wrong, and the patients to forgive me if I get upset at first. Finally, he must be passionate, loving, trustworthy, and intelligent. Did I mention that I must adore him? He probably needs to be cute too. |
